Abstract.

A method of ontology building based on domain models in terms "Node-Function-Object" (UFO models) is created; facts classification which is extracted from UFO domain models is developed; constructions of RDF language, which are necessary to the representation these facts as ontology, are analyzed. The original RDF-dictionary at N-Triples notation is elaborated. The algorithm for obtaining the formal recording in RDF facts language about the interaction of elements in the UFO model is suggested. The method of building formalized ontology by RDF language was approved for a fragment of the urban transit system. Ontologies, which are built on the base of UFO models, provide: a facts machinereadability, which are contained in UFO models; better objectiveness and complete description of the domain area, reducing the part of the direct expert’s participation in the procedures of concepts collection and detection the connections between them, and also ability to automate the processes of inductive inference on ontology.
